KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The Event Sales Officer oversees and drives revenue growth through event service promotion, focusing on identifying clients, building relationships, and securing agreements for successful event execution, thereby contributing to the company’s overall success.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Actively identify and pursue potential clients for event services through research, networking, and outreach.

  • Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with clients by understanding their needs and preferences.

  • Create comprehensive event proposals, including budgets, timelines, and service offerings, tailored to individual client requirements.

  • Skillfully negotiate terms and pricing to secure profitable contracts and agreements.

  • Set and achieve sales targets, consistently meeting or exceeding revenue goals.

    Continuously monitor competitors' offerings, pricing, and strategies to identify opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.

  • Collaborate with event planning and operations teams to ensure seamless event execution, communicating client expectations and requirements.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics to develop effective sales strategies.

  • Gather feedback from clients after events and use this information to improve service offerings and the overall client experience.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management Marketing, or related field

  • Work experience in Event Sales Officer or similar role

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients

  • Knowledge of event planning and industry trends.

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven.
