Audio-Visual Technician

AUDIO-VISUAL TECHNICIAN

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible and takes charge in setting up audio and video equipment according to the departmental requests;

• Makes sure to be available to assist all functions;

• May carry out minor repairs, like replacement of busted lights, faucet leaks, etc.;

• Takes charge in monitoring as assigned area of responsibility (function rooms) and the order and cleanliness of all AV Rooms;

• Keeps a file of acceptable background music for different occasions as back-up at all times;

• Responsible for clearing the function rooms after every event;

• Facilitates aircon filter cleaning;

• May carry out guest floor and/or public area calls for assistance;

• Ensures the safety of all hotel equipment and property;

• Provides excellent customer service for the guest;

• Conducts and submits AV equipment inventory on a monthly basis and keeps track of any defect, repair and replacement history;

• Perform other tasks as may be assigned from time to time. 

Education and or Work Experience Requirements:

• At least graduate of any vocational course specializing in audio technician or any related course; 

• Preferably with at least 1 year experience and technical know how;

• Professional appearance and cooperative approach;

• Computer literate;

• Result and customer-oriented; and

• Good communication and can follow instructions.
