Job Description:

 

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Distribution Sales Manager with a specific focus on Distribution Channel Management to join our team. This role will play a pivotal role in identifying, building, and nurturing strategic partnerships with distributors and retail businesses interested in incorporating our LifeSmart home automation products into their product portfolios. As a Distribution Channel Manager, you will be at the forefront of growing our market presence and establishing LifeSmart as a leading player in the home automation industry.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Distribution Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive distribution strategy, including identifying and targeting potential distributors, retailers, and partners.

  • Distributor Outreach: Proactively reach out to potential distributors and retail partners, building strong relationships with key decision-makers.

  • Sales Support: Provide sales support, training, and marketing materials to distribution partners to facilitate the sales process.

  • Market Analysis: Conduct market analysis to understand customer needs, competition, and emerging trends, adapting distribution strategies as needed.

  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate distribution agreements and contracts with partners to ensure mutually beneficial and profitable partnerships.

  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and assess the performance of distribution partners, ensuring they meet sales and service level expectations.

  • Pipeline Management: Maintain a detailed pipeline of potential distribution partners and track progress through various stages of development.

  • Reporting: Generate and analyze data to provide regular reports on partnership opportunities, successes, and challenges to the management team.

Qualifications:

  • Must have 2-3 year experience in distribution channel

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).

  • Proven experience in business development, partnerships, or sales, with a specific focus on distribution channels within the technology or home automation industry.

  • Has a good communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting and exceeding distribution channel targets.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • A strong network of industry contacts is a plus.

  • Willingness to travel as required.
