CODY MARKETING CORPORATION IS LOOKING FOR AN ACCOUNTING STAFF!

FUNCTIONS

Performs accounting and clerical functions to support the department
Responsible for following up and resolving discrepancies related to invoice processing
Ensures that transactions are recorded/charged to the correct accounts
Prioritizes invoices according to cash discount potential and payment terms
File copies of the check/cash vouchers and supporting documents
Reconciles charge transactions
Ensures the transactions are valid and have documentary support
Checks whether transactions are billed completely and accurately
Tracks and resolves accounting concerns
Collates, photocopies and file documents
Maintains a good working relationship with the customer accounts
Performs other duties and responsibilities assigned by Management

Qualifications

A degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent
Experience in accounting/finance field, meticulous with keen attention to details, data analysis and multi-tasking skills
Has good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning business information
Proficiency in relevant computer applications (MS Office)
Proactive attitude and can work with minimal supervision
