MATERIAL CONTROLLER

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Material Controller is responsible for safe and efficient operations of materials movements and materials storage within the fabrication and electrical area. Ensure the Materials handling processes and procedures are met and in accordance to QMS.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 6 months experience in clerical works for inventory and encoding.

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND:

• Atleast College Level or College Graduate

COMPETENCY PROFILE:

• Preferably Female, Atleast 18-30 yrs. old

• Willing to be trained as Material Controller

• Basic understanding of Material Control functions

• Knows how to use basic excel, word access Microsoft applications format.

• Able to read and understand basic measurement units, can do calculations as well.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensuring that product quality standards are met by selecting materials that meet specifications

• Coordinating with stockroom to ensure that materials are delivered on time to the correct location.

• Monitoring inventory levels and ordering additional materials as needed to ensure that supply does not run out

• Coordinating with fabrication and electrical staff to ensure that materials are available when needed.

• Regularly update the inventory database for easy monitoring of matrerials

• Submits monthly material inventory reports

• Responsible for encoding of Job Order received on a daily basis

• Compile Requisition slip and delivery receipt on a monthly basis.
