Is URGENTLY looking for:

WOODWORK SUPERVISOR

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE FUNCTION:  

• Primarily responsible in supervising woodwork production - machining and assembly; scheduling and monitoring of production items to meet production schedules on time with the right quality and at the least possible cost.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for planning materials/requirements to ensure continuous flow of work in the production line.

• Responsible for monitoring work in process/parts and components scheduled for shipment.

• Conducts process review and checks specifications of each item.

• Develop and recommend systems and procedures that would ensure efficient flow of items.

• Responsible for organizing the first production run on new items to minimize production delays due to quality problems.

• Coordinates the activities of the production section to ensure timely completion of desired volume.

• Responsible for establishing standard man-hours and material requirements for each production operation.

• Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the General Manager.

QUALIFICATION

• Graduate of engineering course or other related courses, preferably but not necessary;

• 3 – 5 years working experience in Wood Furniture or Manufacturing industry is an advantage;

• Has sense of urgency;

• Willing to take responsibility;

• Can work with less Supervision;

• Strong interpersonal skills;

• Can do multitasking;

• Efficient personnel relation skills;

WORK SCHEDULE:

• Overtime if necessary

• 7 am - 4 pm shift

• 9:00 am - 9:30 am morning break

• 12:01 nn - 1:00 pm lunch break
