HR STAFF - RECRUITMENT

Department/Division/ Section : Corporate Management Division/ HR Section

Reports To : HR Manager

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITY

Responsible for delivering the manpower requirements of the company by providing recruitment end-to-end service from sourcing, attracting and hiring the best possible candidates. Ensures a strong talent pipeline by attracting the right candidates, collaborating with requesting departments to understand their human resource needs and by finding the best match for open positions through various recruitment sources.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Employer Branding and Sourcing

Builds talent pool and pipeline through online resume mining and field sourcing
Proactive sources candidates for niched roles
Maintains positive networks and work relationship with industry contacts, school partners, government, industry associations and social media to attract, source, and build candidate pipeline
Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate recruitment channels
Helps build a good employer brand for the organization and acts as a point of contact for potential applicants to build influential candidate relationships

Recruitment

Screens candidates’ resumes and job applications
Schedules & conducts employment exam to potential candidates
Schedules candidates for interview
Maintains good and open communication with candidates to update about their status

Onboarding

Track and coordinates with the onboarding in-charge and medical clearance in-charge for completion of pre-employment requirements

Reporting and Data Management and Analytics

Manages candidates’ data and provides accurate and on time updates in the tracking systems
Maintains recruiting reports and metrics

Others

When needed, assists the HR team in implementing employee engagement activities
Upholds the KYOCERA Philosophy and participates in various KYOCERA Philosophy permeation activities
Supports and observes company practices concerning quality management system and helps comply with ISO standards
Participates in company-wide activities that help promote organizational improvement and high level of employee engagement such as 5S campaigns, safety and health programs, club and employee-wellness activities

REQUIREMENTS

Education/Experience

University Graduate of Bachelor degree, major is Psychology, Human Resource Management or related courses; preferably with good scholastic records
1 year relevant work experience in recruiting functions in a software industry would be an advantage, but not necessary

Skills and Behavioral Attributes

Strong networking and relationship-building skills to attract and source active and passive candidates
Ability to conduct job interview
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable and confident in speaking to crowds, Executive level positions and internal customers
Proficient in using technology (MS applications, Sharepoint, MS Teams, social media, etc.)
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to establish healthy and positive work relations with all levels in the organization

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Normal amount of sitting or standing, average mobility to move around an office environment, able to conduct extended amount of work at a computer. Frequent long hours and contact with people in high-stress situations.
