QUALITY MANAGER

Job Description:

Contributes to development and implementation of best practice quality vision, policies and processes and procedures to improve overall performance.
Review and set product or processes specifications
Helps set and monitor supplier requirements for raw materials or products.
Improve quality processes efficiency and sustainability
Ensure adherence to quality requirements, and standards.
Helps provide high level evaluation and disposition of product or process non-conformity according to the established or applicable quality standards.
Train quality team and other members in all aspects of the quality system and application of procedures
Work collaboratively with the cross functional team, key stakeholders, and other team members to facilitate and delivery appropriate quality related resolutions and actions.
Ensure KPIs are met by working to the overall plan, including communication, management, and reporting.
Helps manage, coach, and develop high performing team that meets the agreed objectives and delivers added value & continuous improvements.
Identifies manpower skills and requirements, determines training needs of subordinates and evaluates performance of subordinates in periodic appraisal.

Job Qualification

Graduate of any engineering courses – a degree holder in Industrial Engineering, and Electronics
Engineering is preferable. A master’s degree holder related to business management is an advantage.
With a minimum of five (5) years related experience in quality management in electronics /automotive manufacturing industry setting (or any related manufacturing industry) particularly managing Quality Management System, Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions.
Possess high level of confidence and management skills
Strong people management and technical skills
Acquire proficient technical skills and problem-solving skills
High numerical skills and understanding in statistics
Good leadership skills, planning and organization skills
Ability to manage a variety of cross-functional team members
Proficient in communication (both in Oral and Written)
Good Interpersonal skills and teamworking skills
Proficient in balancing customer focus (internal and external customers) to meet and exceed company’s objectives.
Good decision making and acquire good critical thinking
Computer Literate (PROFICIENT IN ALL MS OFFICE OPERATIONS)
Well experienced in implementation of ISO 9001 / 14000 / 45001 standards
