PAYROLL ASSISTANT

Salary Range: Php 18,000 – Php 25,000

Job Descriptions:

Assist Australian payroll
Ability to interpret different award and Enterprise Agreements.
Ensuring all payroll transactions are processed efficiently.
Collecting, calculating, and entering data in order to maintain and update payroll information
Compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, and Worker Compensation.
Determining payroll liabilities by calculating employee federal and state income, social security taxes, employer's social security, unemployment, and workers compensation payments
Resolving payroll discrepancy Responding to email and query in relation to payroll.
Maintaining payroll operations by following policies and procedures
Developing ad hoc financial and operational reporting as needed
Able to interpret Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
Preparation of Superannuation Statements.
Assisting managers by providing necessary reports
Processing new Starters and terminations

Job Qualifications:

Minimum of at least 2-3 years' experience in a similar role
Experience handling with an Australian is an advantage
Willing to be trained, and work overtime if needed
Capable of handling high level of pressure while continuing to perform duties accurately
Capacity to be diplomatic and helpful when answering telephone queries
Able to adapt to a changing environment
Opportunities to get involved in system improvements and project work.
Great eye for detail
Willing to work in a Cebu onsite/ office based.
Ability to confidently work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Timely and accurate processing of end-to-end payroll tasks, including salary packaging, leave management and superannuation.
