Pets in the City Veterinary Clinic (fondly called PITC) has been in the animal care business for more than 10 years now. It is located in Talamban, Cebu City.

Doc Daisy and her team currently caters to consultation, vaccination, pet grooming and surgery. Pets in the Veterinary City Clinic strongly advocates for responsible pet ownership. It serves to be the client’s and community’s partners in promoting responsible pet ownership by continuous learning and education, constant service improvement and sensitivity to client’s and patient’s needs.

HR & ADMIN MANAGER

The HR & Admin Manager will ensure that clinic operations run smoothly and will continue to improve. He/she will manage all HR and administrative functions and ensure that excellent service and care is given to the company and its employees. He/she will

oversee a team of specialists and work together to deliver outstanding results for the company.

The following are the duties and responsibilities of a HR & Admin Manager:

Plan HR and administration activities quarterly/annually
Set, monitor, and work towards achieving HR targets
Manage recruitment, onboarding, and exit procedures
Oversee payroll, compensation and benefits, and training
Ensure full compliance with company policies and procedures, and ensure alignment with labor laws
Work with senior management to resolve employee relations issues pragmatically
Coach, counsel, and discipline employees
Oversee the purchasing activities for clinic supplies and inventory
Manage the finance-related activities such as payroll payments, supplier payments, bookkeeping, financial reporting, reimbursements, etc.
Run the office and facilities management functions
Lead the HR and administration team

Qualifications/Competencies

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Management
At least 2 years of proven work experience in managerial level handling human resources and administration
Considerable experience in team leadership
Successful experience in employee relations
Excellent written and verbal communication
Strategic thinking ability
Proven ability to multitask
Ability to build consensus and harmonious relationships among fellow managers and team members
Has a strong sense of accountability and highly value honesty and transparency
Possess a growth mindset
Experience working in the medical field is preferred
