ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE

We are seeking an Accounting Associate to join our team in the Accounts Receivables (AR) department. The Accounting Associate will be responsible for managing our company's incoming payments, recording transactions, and assisting with various accounting tasks. This position will report to the Accounts Receivables Supervisor/ Accounting Supervisor and work closely with other members of the accounting team.

Job Description:

Accounts Receivables
- Immersion in the current scope that is handled by the Accounting Associate for Accounts Receivable, to be able to eventually split the AR workload, streamline and improve processes, given the growing number of transactions
- Daily bank reconciliation, updating, and recording of collections for all Benedict Ventures Inc. business transactions, including accounting and summary reports of these transactions.
- Review and audit Sales Admin computations for incentives and commissions requested to match with the banked-in and posted collections from buyers
- Recording of Output VAT
- Receiving Receipts and invoices from Agents for Input VAT
- Recording of Input VAT
- Daily SAP Upload of A/R Invoices, Payment Collections, and Deposits
- In the absence of the Accounting Associate, should be able to issue Acknowledgement Receipt/ Official Receipt, accordingly to project
- In the lack of an Accounting Associate, summarize the daily payment collection report and RF incentive revolving fund report
- Respond to clients' and suppliers' inquiries via email or phone
- Taking additional tasks or projects to learn more about accounting and office operations
SAP.
- Be trained in the SAP processes and help ensure the implantation of SAP

Qualifications:

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

Preferable experience

1-2 years of relevant accounting experience
Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience with AR processes and procedures preferred

Others

A keen eye for detail; able to prioritize tasks effectively
Highly adaptable; can thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, quickly-changing environment

Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
Previous experience working in an executive support role is preferred, but not required
