We are currently looking for the following individuals to be part of our growing team:

GROUP HEAD (ELECTRICAL ENGINEER)

BASIC FUNCTIONS:

Responsible in the administration and coordination of all the activities in the Electrical Engineering Group, so that all electrical machineries and equipments in the whole complex are available for operation and in satisfactory condition at all times.
Ensures that all production plants in the complex are at all times supplied with adequate and reliable source of electric power, particularly that from NPC (at 69,000v primary at the substation and transmitted through the medium voltage transmission 13,800v secondary) network towards the complex.
Manages the efficient performance of all personnel under him, to keep them motivated and enthusiastic towards their work.
Manages the efficient performance of personnel through delegation to the Supervisors.
Coordinates all activities of the Electrical Engineering Group.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

A graduate of Bachelor of Science of Electrical Engineering
Must be a licensed Electrical Engineer and PEE is an advantage

EXPERIENCE

Must have at least 5 to 10 years' experience in Electrical Engineering works and Facilities Maintenance
Has experience in industrial field works

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

Knowledgeable in the protection relays, transmission lines and terminations
Knows how to read and interpret Electrical diagrams
Knows the advance set-up of a diesel power plant and can troubleshoot generators Electrical problems
Knows the basic installation of reclosers, disconnect switch, lighting arresters and equipment
Knows how to make project estimates for bidding and the process
Computer literate
