Sales Account Executive

Is currently looking for:

SALES ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for soliciting accounts to maximize sales in key market segments, effectively manage and network accounts and develop new business opportunities; actively promote all resort facilities

JOB CONTENT:

• Develop business working with Sales Manager, following the target set out for each sales executive

• Meet with clients in the assigned area and educate them on the hotel

• Actively seeking out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media

• Perform new business and client review preservations

• Collaborate with team members to achieve better results

• Generate new business for room and conference sales across business sectors through regular client calls

• Develop personal relationship with key accounts

• Monitor and communicate competitor activity and act upon it as requires

• Organize and host familiarization visits, presentations and/or attend relevant travel and hotel-related events with other member of the sales team

• Attend to client complaints and take appropriate action

• Prepare reports related to daily tasks, confirmations and cancellations, progress of sales calls and transportation report

• Maintain and update account file and client history

• Report to Sales Manager deficiencies/ complaints on facilities and services

• Perform other duties as directed by superiors

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION : College graduate, preferably HM/ Tourism or Marketing

QUALIFICATIONS :

• At least 5’4” in height

• Pleasant, with outgoing personality, well mannered

• With excellent written and oral communication skills

• Self-motivated and must have the ability to work on her/his own initiative

• Must be willing and able to travel frequently

• Proven experience as a Sales Executive or relevant role

• Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques

• Fast learner and passion for sales

• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach

• Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations
