Urgent Hiring: PASTRY CHEF

 

About the Role: Pastry Chef will be assigned in El-Mar Resort in Calumboyan, Sogod, Cebu.

 

KEY LIAISON: Kitchen, F&B Dining, FO  and Hotel guests.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages all the day-to-day operations in the pastry section in the kitchen and coordinates with the other chefs.

  • Lead in preparing a variety of baked goods for El-Mar guests.

  • Present savory pastries and baked goods in a creative way.

  • Responsible for monitoring the inventory of the ingredients, supplies and equipment.

  • Ensures the health and safety regulations in the Kitchen Department.

  • Capable of creating new seasonal recipes and menus in line with the latest trends to attract more guests.

  • Time management skills to carry orders on schedule and control in avoiding wasting food.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be a graduate of Culinary, HRM and other relevant courses.

  • Must have 2 to 3 years of work experience in a resort/ hotel setting.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Willing to be assigned in Sogod.

  • Can work ASAP.
