MARKETING STAFF

JOB SUMMARY

A Marketing Staff is responsible for supporting the development and execution of marketing plans and strategies. This may include a variety of tasks, such as conducting market research, coordinating events and promotions, developing marketing materials, managing social media accounts, and analyzing campaign performance.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

A. KEY RESULT AREA

Leads in the formulation of innovative marketing strategies and programs.
Manages the proper assignment of people and appropriate use of resources. Monitors and controls the sales budget to ensure optimum utilization of resources in the company.
Conducts regular client visits to check for opportunities, competitors' activity and continuously search for new opportunities in order to increase sales in the freight forwarding business.
Maintains and submits weekly/monthly report regarding current Sales production, actual and forecast.
Prepares Quarterly/Semi-annual/Annual Sales report and provides reason and recovery plan for missed sales targets.
Develops, maintains and improves current processes to ensure effectivity of sales operations.
Maintains system and process knowledge and acts as a point person to resolve escalated complaints in a timely manner.

B. CUSTOMER SERVICE

Communicates and assists inquiries from clients by emails, text or calls. Answers calls beyond office hours and holidays.
Acts on the front line to assist clients on critical situation, leads in the coordination of customer shipments between external and internal teams 24-hours daily
Identifies potential customers and builds strong relationships with existing customers.
Works effectively with clients and stakeholders to maximize opportunities, and achieve operations targets.
Builds rapport with relevant organizations for the purpose of developing partnerships and gathering information on market and technology trends in the region.

C. COLLABORATION and TEAMWORK

Ensures compliance to client’s requirements in a timely manner.
Works effectively with the cross-functional team to be able to adapt to change quickly and improves problem-solving that lead to smarter, more sustainable decision-making.
Assists with project assignments in the department.
Supports special program/operations planning and implementation.
Escalates proactively developing issues in the sales operations to the CEO.
Provides suggestions to CEO regarding any issues/concerns in the practice of his/her function to continuously improve the quality of service in the department.

D. OTHERS

Performs other duties and responsibilities which may be assigned by CEO.

JOB QUALIFICATION

A. Education

Bachelor’s degree of Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Engineering and/or any related course

B. Type of Experience & Length of Time Required

Minimum of 2-year relevant work experience

C. Core Skill / Specialized Technical Skill / Special Talents Required

Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills, comfortable managing relationships and communications at every level of organizational hierarchy, able to engage members of the board of the company or of partner organizations
Entrepreneurial and resourceful, able to work independently to build up a network of partners
Skills in organizing resources and establishing priorities
Ability to apply analytical thinking, creative problem-solving, and conflict resolution to daily tasks
Strong organizational, leadership skills and keen business sense
Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other similar tools
Willing to work on weekends and holidays, as needed
