Role of DPA:

Designated Person Ashore (DPA) plays a key role in the effective implementation of a Safety Management System and takes responsibility for verification and monitoring of all safety and pollution prevention activities.

Suitably qualified and experienced in ship operations or management systems and be fully conversant with the Company's Safety and Environment Protection Policy and the SMS.
