BEHAVIORAL HEALTH REVIEWER
 
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identify appropriate assignment of CPT and ICD-9 Codes for Physician and facility services provided in a behavioral health setting
Understanding of ICD-9 Coding in relation to CPC
Review and maintain a record of claims, reviewed basis standard CMS guideline
Maintain up-to-date Coding knowledge by reviewing materials disseminated/recommended by CMS
Adhere to and maintains required levels of performance in both Coding accuracy and productivity

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum requirement: Graduate of Bachelor’s or Masters in Psychology, Education, Special Education or any therapy related degree are preferred
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT®) or Applied Behavior Analysis Technician (ABAT®) in good standing is a BIG advantage
Flexible with shifts
Strong critical thinking, oral and written communication skills
Ability to work independently
Intermediate skill level with MS Office
