MedSpecialized, Inc. is looking for a Patient Portal Implementation Specialist!

General Description: The Patient Portal Implementation Specialist is responsible for customizing and preparing the patient portal to client requirements as well as providing them the necessary training.

Work Schedule and Arrangement: 9 PM - 6 AM PHT / 11 PM - 8 AM PHT: Office-based position

Office Location: 8th floor Skyrise 4B Building, IT Park, Lahug, Cebu City, Cebu


  • Communicate with the client to obtain the basic portal requirements.

  • Set up patient portal after retrieving the needed requirements.

  • Coordinate with appropriate teams (EHR, VAS Implementation, App Team, Deployment Team) to finish the project on time.

  • Use initiative in completing the tasks like clinic website, logo, etc.

  • Always keep the PM, TL, Team email on the loop when communicating with client POC.

  • Understand the flow for New Patient Flow and Established Patient flow depending on the clinic specialty.

  • Report to TL regarding the status of the project.

  • Perform QC correctly.

  • Replace the preloaded email templates with the correct letter templates.

  • Update the tracker.

  • Submit any cases/bugs/IERs in MEM and assign it to the appropriate team/member.

  • Prepare the portal prior to the training session.

  • Train the client and provide a copy of the training video to the client.

  • Perform an extra mile.


  • College graduate of any IT or medical related program 

  • More than 6 months of BPO experience

  • More than 3 months of IT experience

  • Basic knowledge on Apache, SSL Certificate & HTML

  • Background in HTML/website design

  • Confident, has high self-esteem, and must be tech savvy

  • Excellent English communication skills

  • Basic knowledge of medical terminologies

  • Easy going and independent

  • Can work with less supervision

  • Physically fit to work in a BPO setting

  • Willing to work in our Cebu IT Park office at least once a week

  • Willing to work during holidays and weekends

Salary and monetary benefits (in PHP):

  • Monthly salary of 22,000 - 23,000

  • New hire bonus of 5,000
