GENERAL LEDGER SPECIALIST

Qualifications:

At least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Economics, Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or Business Studies or any related course
At least 2 years of professional experience in Record to Report or General accounting processes
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
Computer literate
Excellent in Microsoft Excel
Highly trainable and can work with less supervision

Job Description:

Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, preparation of supporting analysis and schedules
Oversee tax and financial regulatory compliance of the designated entities
Ensure compliance with all finance policies and internal controls, policies and helps in the implementation of internal controls
Process month-end entries, accruals, prepayments, amortization, and other adjustments
Supports in conducting internal and external audits
Other general accounting tasks specifically for the assigned entities such as creating/updating process documentation, and participating in the backup continuity plan
