Job summary:

As an AUSTRALIAN ACCOUNTANT you are responsible for analyzing financial data, reporting and preparing financial statements to help make an organization operate efficiently.

An AUSTRALIAN ACCOUNTANT is expected to:

General bookkeeping
Reconciliations
Assisting the client with the preparation of financial reports PLUS handling accounts-related customer inquiries via email and telephone is required
Preparation of Financial Statements
Preparing and checking asset, liability, and capital account information
Summarizing current financial status by collecting information, and preparing balance sheets, profit and loss, and other reports

What it takes to be part of our team:

Degree in Accountancy or any bachelor’s degree in accounting - CPA, CA or similar professional qualification
1-2 years’ experience in accounts payable, preferably in an Australian Company.
Experience in using Xero Accounting software and QuickBooks Online.
4+ years prior Australian taxation and business services accounting experience in a public practice or outsourced services to a public practice.(Intermediate to senior accountant roles)
Cert IV bookkeeping,prior experience in Xero or MYOB bookkeeping.Experience with Australian GST but not essential.(Bookkeeper-AU experience roles)
