MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

 

Are responsible to:

  • Create new machine design, programming and machine operations according to customer specifications and perform machine assembly based on mechanical drawing specification

  • Evaluate current machine condition and initiate improvements and verify its effectiveness to increase machine efficiency and quality

  • Conduct Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA) to determine potential failures and their causes

  • Assist production in solving and repairing machine breakdown/problems to ensure smooth flow of operations

  • Research and develop ideas for new and/or improved machine designs to improve and optimize machine designs for productivity and longevity

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in ME or ECE, with 1-2 years of relevant industrial experience

  • Proficiency with engineering design programs such as Solidworks or AutoCAD

  • Sound knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials and quality control protocols

  • Good understanding of pneumatics, motors, sensors and mechanical components
