TESTING & COMMISSIONING ENGINEER

E/E Installation Department

(Cebu-based)

Responsibilities:

Conducts final inspection of a completed project to check if the unit is already for turn-over to the owner and the Service Department respectively. Ensures that safety precautions are observed at the job site. Conducts initial testing and adjustment of newly installed elevators and/or escalators. Conducts inspection on existing elevators and/or escalators and recommends ways and mean to improve quality of installation and service works. Readjusts elevators and/or escalators in accordance with the recommendation of the Service Department with the help of the QC Adjusters. Prepares and submits periodic reports related to work. Works in revision/addition of electrical circuits on elevators and escalators assigned to him. Trains and develops his men in the efficient performance of their functions and for the personal growth in the company. Performs other quality control-related tasks that may be assigned by his superior from time to time.

Requirements:

Graduate of Electrical or Electronics Engineering course, preferably licensed by the Professional Regulation Commission.
Must have at least two (2) years of related experience as elevator/escalator technician
Must be proficient in both oral and written communication.
Can relate effectively to all types of people in the organization and with strong leadership potential.
Capable of negotiating effectively with subcontractors.
Must possess a pleasant personality and of good moral character
