PROJECT ENGINEER

Group Area: Engineering Department- Construction Division- Implementation Section

Job Summary:

Oversees and supervises the day to day operations of assigned projects, forecasts material, equipment and manpower requirements based on project implementation schedule. Manages project implementation to ensure its completion on time and within budget and specification

Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects
Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field
Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status
Plan and document needed materials, equipment and manpower ahead of time
Comply the necessary documents that may be required by the main office from the project sites.
Assign responsibilities and mentor project team
Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions

Minimum Qualification:

Education: Licensed Civil Engineer
Training and Experience: One (1) years relevant experience
Skills and Attitude:
- Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
- Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
- Project management and supervision skills
- Decision-making ability and leadership skills
