Job Description


The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for leading a team of sales representatives in the designated region to achieve sales goals and objectives for the company's pharmaceutical products. This individual will work closely with the national sales team, as well as marketing, to develop and execute sales strategies and tactics. 



  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field

  • At least 3-5 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry

  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets

  • Experience leading and managing a sales team

  • Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills

  • Ability to analyze market trends and competitor activity

  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and regulations

  • Willingness to travel frequently within the designated region

  • Strong computer skills and proficiency with CRM software


  • Experience in the certification industry (ISO standards)

  • Experience Value-added problem-solving sales process

  • Experience selling services to manufacturers or service providers to manufacturers

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies and plans to achieve sales goals and objectives

  • Lead, manage and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales targets

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders

  • Collaborate with the national sales team and marketing to develop and execute promotional and educational programs

  • Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth

  • Prepare and deliver regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management

  • Attend and participate in national and regional sales meetings, conferences and trade shows

  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, as well as all legal and ethical standards
