CIVIL ESTIMATOR/QUANTITY SURVEYOR

We are a well-established Australian Civil Engineering/Contractor operating in and around Sydney NSW since 1993. We provide a comprehensive scope of civil contracting services. We are seeking a qualified civil estimator/quantity surveyor.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The successful candidate will interpret and assess civil or architectural drawings to determine the requisite material quantities, compute cost estimates for the preparation of project proposals and other bid documents, monitor status of projects (from design and bidding to awarding, installation and completion), and, work closely with Australian counterparts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidate must possess a Professional License in Civil Engineering or Architecture;
At least 5 years of work experience in diverse construction projects;
Must have knowledge in construction operations of high-rise buildings, roads, bridges and other infrastructures;
Has a comprehensive understanding of structural designs;
Knowledgeable in MS CAD software;
Can do bid documentation, BOQ Preparation and Budgeting for each project; and,
Excellent verbal and written communication.
