SALES & MARKETING OFFICER

 

Job Summary

 

A Sales and Marketing Officer manages and control all aspects of the sales and marketing operation of the restaurant.

 

Functions:

  • Accepts inquiries and reservations, and records necessary information on the inquiry sheet.

  • Must be present in all banquet events to ensure all function requirements stipulated in the event order and function contract is efficiently and effectively carried out.

  • Ensures that standards in service and food & beverage presentation is followed.

  • Coordinates with the kitchen, dining and maintenance department.

  • Develops sales strategies and approaches for various products and services, such as special promotions and sponsored events, etc.

  • Tracks sales data and works to meet sales team goals.

  • Analyses trends, data, demographics, pricing strategies, and other information that can potentially improve marketing and sales performance.

  • Makes Sales Call, Email Blast, Text Blast, Update Facebook Account and inquiries.

  • Should be able to rise up to last minute changes and requests by client's in the most professional manner.

  • Positions himself/herself as the middle person and main contact between the client and all the departments of the restaurant.

  • Ensures customer satisfaction by delivering timely and quality services.

  • Gathers guests’ feedback and recommendations and addresses issues of the same.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree

  • At least 3-4 years of working experience in restaurant operations specialized in sales and promotions

  • Required Skill(s): communication and organizing, negotiation skill and data analysis

  • Proficient in generating reports

  • Familiarity in softwares such as MS Word and Excel to produce reports, spreadsheets, databases, records and other documents
