Is currently looking for:

PLANT MECHANIC – ALCOY, CEBU PLANT

Qualifications:

1. A degree of Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering

2. A licensed Mechanical Engineer

3. Minimum of 3 years of experience

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for maintaining the operational and efficient performance of the plant equipment, machinery, and its facilities to ensure that its minimum operating efficiency is achieved likewise maximizing its life.

• Gathers information report from the Plant Operation Foreman on the plant facilities that need repair and/or maintenance;

• Conducts ocular inspection of the plant facilities that are reported for repair/maintenance;

• Determines the degree of urgency of the needed repair/maintenance;

• If the repair is urgent, check the availability of spare and materials needed for the repair at the Warehouse;

• If no available materials, initiate an order of the needed materials and parts. If unavailable, schedules the needed repair;

• Plans/Prioritizes/Schedules the necessary repair/maintenance activities in coordination with applicable sections;

• Prepares tools materials and spare parts needed for the repair/maintenance;

• Conducts the actual repair/maintenance and operates applicable equipment;

• Conducts final inspection and test run, if applicable;

• Advises operation personnel to proceed with plant operations;

• Conducts proper housekeeping activity;

• Prioritizes found abnormalities for repair/maintenance scheduling;

• Prepares weekly plant repairs/maintenance and shutdown schedule;

• Monitors and collects data of plant equipment status;

• Checks plant facilities for spillages;

• Disposes garbage properly in designated receptacles;

• Accepts other responsibilities as may be assigned by superiors according to the needs of the company;

• Administers all assigned functions consistent within support of the goals of the company;

• Creates and preserves the most favorable company image by conducting all functions in the most ethical and fair manner;

• Upholds and promotes the good name of the company in all transactions with customers, suppliers, co-employees, and other individuals who may be directly or indirectly involved in the business;

• Performs other duties that the management may assign from time to time;
