Job Requirement / Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

• Knows how to read Auto Cad Designs/Drawing

• At least 2 Years of working experience in Purchasing is an advantage

• Preferably with an experience working in a Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent.

• Experience with international procurement is advantageous

• Exceptional interpersonal skills in multicultural settings

• Have good negotiating skills with suppliers.

• Strong coordination and monitoring skills

• Resourceful, honest, and trustworthy

• Proficient in using MS Office Applications

• Excellent English communication skills (verbal/written).

List of Key Responsibilities:

1. Research potential vendors. Develop Supply Chain Management.

2. Evaluate offers from vendors and negotiate better prices (RFI, RFP & RFQ)

3. Process orders and schedule deliveries

4. Interact with the suppliers on a day-to-day basis.

5. Track the status of any orders. Organize and prioritize items according to urgency.

6. Review deliveries against the orders. Check and compare quality, quantity, and price.

7. Liaise with Manufacturing to ensure all ordered products arrive in good condition

8. Deal with under-orders, over-orders, and damaged goods. Engage with vendor for resolution.

9. Ensure that any invoices are sent to accounts for payment. Engage vendor for payment advice or status.

10. Runs and analyzes reports to determine items needed for order and shares information with superior

11. Performs other tasks as may be assigned from time to time
