Incorporated in November 28, 1990, Southpole Corporation, is a family-owned company, a conglomerate of various divisions and segments, both in product and service industries. The company offers oil and gas products, exclusive dealer of food and beverages, as well as engaged into services such as business and consumer financing, convenience stores, pawnshops, ticketing agency and pension house services.
 
Since its establishment 25 years ago, Southpole has become the leading distributor of oil and gas products and beverages in Bongao, Siargao and Zamboanga City. In addition, we are the top financing institution in Bongao, Tawi-Tawi, Zambonaga City, and Ipil, Sibugay for the past five years. The company expanded its financing and pension house operations in Cebu in June 2015, as well as the construction of the new additional segment, theSouthpole Central Hotel under a newly form corporation, Southpole Land Development Corporation.
 
Southpole Central Hotel, the newest business hotel in the city, is scheduled to soft-open this October 2015. With 95 guestrooms and suites and meeting venues to accommodate the growing demand for both leisure and business travelers in Cebu City.
 
Southpole Central Hotel needs the following:
 
FOOD & BEVERAGE SUPERVISOR
 
Qualifications:
Preferably Male
Must be a graduate of BSHRM / Food and Beverage Services Management or its equivalent
With at least 2 years of experience in specializing in Food & Beverage / Restaurant Service and Production or its equivalent
Must have leadership, good communication and problem – solving skills
Must be open – minded and flexible in any changes
Goal oriented and possess common sense, has high energy level and drive, confident, self-motivated, service oriented, motivator and people developer, good planner, creative, extrovert and good communicator
Willing to work in flexible hours and can extend hours of working
Flexible to changes and has sense of responsibility
Must be willing to work in Cebu City
Must have a strong and pleasing personality
Duties and Responsibilities:
Open to direction and collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done.
To ensure that the customer promise is delivered and that customers are satisfied within the framework of financial targets set.
Ability to look at situations from several points of view; persuasive with details and facts
Delegate responsibilities effectively
To ensure that guests receive high quality service
High comfort level working in a diverse environment
To ensure that the applicable regulations are complied with
Knowledgeable of tax and other government compliance
To be responsible for his or her own results
Can maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene health and safety of the restaurant
To optimise the supply chain and the use made of raw materials
Ensures that restaurant operate efficiently and profitable
