A seafood export manufacturing firm located in Gate # 5, Mactan Economic Zone 1 Extension, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu, Philippines. We manufacture pasteurized canned crabmeat, frozen tuna, block frozen shrimps, frozen octopus and other seafood products to US, EU, and Asian market.

We are in need of:

IMPEX SUPERVISOR

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1) Helps in the effective implementation of the Food Safety and Quality Management System detailed in every key department’s Objectives, Targets, Plans, Process Maps, Programs and Activities, procedures, Work Instructions and specific job descriptions.

2) Supports PUFFI’s Food Safety Quality Management System and all its quality goals and directives.

3) Ensures effective and efficient shipment processing.

4) Creates programs/strategies for improvement of area of jurisdiction.

5) Supervises IMPEX Assistants in their works.

6) Supervises the process of Export and Import processing.

7) Coordinates with suppliers/forwarders on the shipment schedules and required documentations.

8) Monitors and ensures correctness of related shipping documents.

9) Organizes all importation and exportation matters (i.e. payment to suppliers, settlement of all duties and taxes, shipping charges, and shipment arrival information) to all concerned departments.

10) Prepares report of transactions to facilitate billing of shippers and foreign carriers.

11) Receives, reviews, and process export documentation such as B/L and AWB for each shipment.

12) Coordinates with truckers for deliveries of raw materials needed for production.

13) Takes charge of the booking of containers for export and coordinates with the container yard.

14) Monitors activities related to incoming shipments and coordinates the same to brokers, forwarders, shipping lines.

15) Responsible in knowing and complying PEZA, Customs regulations issued thru memorandum.

16) Takes charge in reducing costs and negotiating freight rates.

17) Coordinates with customs agents for clearance on overseas deliveries or incoming cargoes.

18) Provides efficient delivery logistics through data management.

19) Ensures that government regulations such as PEZA, Customs etc. are followed.

20) Attends seminars/orientations on updates and new regulations on Shipments processing.

21) Ensures that BRC and other Food Safety Standards/requirements pertaining to shipment are followed.

22) Ensures/comply Corrective Actions on Audit Findings related to IMPEX or Shipping processes.

23) Provides factual data from day-to-day operations of PUFFI for operations discussion.

24) Maintains cleanliness in his/her work area.

25) Works with IMPEX Assistant staffs to maximize productivity and efficiency.

26) Schedule or file requests for Leave of Absence/s way ahead so that the Department remains functional.

27) Assures that work deliverables are on time and in the highest standard of quality.

28) Follows rules and regulation of the company.

29) Performs other functions that may be assigned from time to time.
