Job Summary:

Digital61 is a technology company that specializes in the cloud-native system and security integration services. Their core focus has been on the provision of services to the Australian Federal Government and Defence, largely underpinned by annuity-based Managed Service agreements.

Our client is experiencing strong organic growth within Canberra and is planning to extend its market focus into other regions. Digital61 has 3 primary objectives: (1) to be an Employer of Choice, (2) to be a Provider of Choice to our customers, and (3) to be a Partner of Choice.

They are seeking a senior recruitment specialist to help them with the following functions, noting that the role will grow and is likely to require additional support in the near future

  • Manage the increasing recruitment needs. Historically they have only recruited Australian citizens with Security clearances in order to meet the needs of their primary customers – Federal Government. This has meant their primary resource pool has come from within Canberra (ACT). However, they are planning to scale into other Australian regions and focus on commercial customers. Our target commercial customers don’t require Security Cleared staff and therefore we can access a broader pool of resource candidates.

  • Coordinate shortlisting and interview processes

  • Provide input into the maturity of a job site and ATS platform that we are implementing.

  • Phone screen candidates against required skills and the company identified competencies via a range of methods such as application questions/ phone interviews

  • With at least a total of 5 years experience working as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role, and at least 3 years of recent experience in IT recruitment

  • Proven Track record in targeted recruitment and/or sourcing, particularly in IT (MS environment, Cloud Engineers, Hybrid Infrastructure, IT Support, and the like)
