Job Purpose


A DSE NOC Support Technician is a Tier 1 technician who provides support dedicated to partners who avail of the DSE service. He/She is responsible for interacting with customers to address inquiries received from them through emails, phone calls, or directly from our partners (resellers). He/she is expected to be able to do troubleshooting in order to resolve minor issues, document, and escalate them if needed.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis of basic software and hardware issues

  • Document issues through tickets and respond to tickets being worked on during the shift

  • Answer phone calls from end-clients in behalf of our Partners

  • Escalate well-documented tickets as needed (open a support escalation ticket and coordinate with partner-client for non-support related concerns from end-clients)

  • Worked on the issues raised directly by partner-client and escalate them to appropriate department if necessary

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor


  • Bachelor's degree graduate, preferably ECE or IT courses

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience working in a call center environment

  • Knowledge of basic computer networking concepts - IP address, MAC address, LAN, WAN,Router and Switch

  • Interest to learn how SIP and VoIP works

  • Resourcefulness in troubleshooting both software and hardware related issues

  • Ability to accept feedback gracefully and with an open mind

  • Able to work efficiently on a grave-yard shift
