Job Summary:

Set up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment
Study each recipe and gather all necessary ingredients
Cook food in a timely manner
Delegate tasks to kitchen staffs
Ensure serving presentation
Supervise and assist as needed
Experiment with recipes and suggest new ingredients
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area

Qualifications:

Proven work experience as a Chef or a Cook
2+ years’ experience as a Chef or a Cook in a full-service restaurant is an advantage
Excellent communication and organization skills
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Dedicated to food quality and control
Strong knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation standards
Leadership skills
Ability to remain calm and undertake various tasks
Up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes
Associate Degree in Culinary Arts required (Bachelor’s preferred)
Knowledgeable with various International Dishes
Willing to be relocated in Lapu-Lapu City
