DIGITAL MARKETING OFFICER

 

Summary of Job

 

Lead the marketing efforts of the company using current marketing tools and strategies and be able to lead integrated offline and online marketing campaigns from concept to execution that increases client engagement. Oversee the marketing department and provides direction and feedback on major projects. Makes Key decisions regarding product distribution, budgeting, branding and sales. Works closely with other departments to set the overall direction and objectives for product and service offerings.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategies and tactics to get the word out about our company and drive qualified traffic to our front door

  • Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution

  • Research market for opportunities. Experiments with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels like content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, performance analysis

  • Produce valuable and engaging content for our website and blog that attracts and converts our target groups

  • Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies and vendors

  • Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis and allocate funds wisely

  • Oversee and approve marketing material, from website banners to hard copy brochures and case studies

  • Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals. Analyze sales and marketing metrics. Forecast market trends

  • Analyze consumer behavior and adjust email and advertising campaigns accordingly. Use customer feedback to ensure client satisfaction

  • Ensure brand consistency through all marketing channels

Job Skills & Qualifications:

  • Graduate in Marketing, Public Relations or relevant field

  • Proven working experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading across channels marketing campaigns that engage, educate and motivate or marketing in general for at least 2 years

  • Experience in Digital Marketing & Events Management

  • Solid knowledge of marketing techniques and principles

  • Thorough understanding of Social Media and of website analytics tools (e.g., Google analytics, Net Insight, Omniture, Web trends)

  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns

  • Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets

  • In-depth knowledge of CRM software and Content Management Systems

  • Adept multi-tasker with ability to quickly prioritize and organize

  • Team player who collaborates with ease and contagious creative energy

  • Creative, proactive, resourceful and self starter

  • Copy writing and graphic/digital design experience is an advantage

  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal / written) and outstanding interpersonal abilities

  1. SEO- Traffic to Website

  2. Pay Per Click- online advertising, click add to arrive at website landing page (NOT YET IMPLEMENTED)

  3. Content Marketing- website content, videos, blog, posts, infographics, articles, EBOOK

  4. Email Marketing-brand awareness, industry news, personalized content, product coupons, etc

  5. Social Media Marketing- Facebook, twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Linkedin

  6. Voice SEO- voice search in google, etc. (New not yet implemented)
