BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER FOR AUTOMOTIVE (BDOA)
Location / Assignment: Corporate Manila Office ; Luzon Area
Reports to: The General Manager
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
REMA TIP TOP offers a comprehensive portfolio for the Automotive sector consisting of customeroriented service, our own advanced products and other commercial goods in premium quality. As the worldwide market leader in the tyre repair sector, we offer specialist operators almost everything they require for tyres and wheels from tyre repair material, workshop equipment, consumables and service concepts.
The purpose of this role is to Maintain and grow RTTPI Business across allocated sales territory, maximizing revenue and profit, specifically for the Automotive Section.
To ensure the attainment of sales, distribution, marketing, and collection objectives within set standards.
To ensure optimum field sales performance
Develop and execute key programs and initiatives to create and sustain business development in the area / territory assigned
A. Sales Generation
Ensure proper monitoring, interpretation and gap analysis of sales statistics and communicate it to the sales team
Address gaps and opportunities to ensure attainment of objectives.
Ensure timely implementation and excellent execution of Sales Plans and other initiatives that result in Sales Target Achievement
Provide consolidated evaluation and feedback to the General Manager of all activities performed in the trade.
Ensure proper maintenance and optimum deployment of trade assets and materials to the trade.
B. Managing of Account Receivables and Trade Relations
Ensure that collections are performed efficiently within his area and the credit policies and collections standards are being implemented
Conduct regular weekly visits customers to ensure that quality of service is provided at the highest level
Gather feedback from trade customers to further improve services and execution of trade activities
Act as the face of RTTPI in the trade in an ethical and professional manner
Ensure sales force adherence to set business principles in all aspect of operations
C. Sales Reporting
Ensure Implementation of set sales standards and procedures
Ensure timely and accurate input of sales figures
D. Business Development
Execute appropriate business models, and make recommendations to the General Manager concerning the potential profitability of new businesses within the area of assignment
Develop and implement set plans and strategies to create awareness, generate and sustain demand in emerging channels
Help in improving Sales Data Management
E. Customer Management
Retain a well-developed portfolio of existing customers
Expand existing customer base
Provide customers with sufficient product information and/or advice with regard to current and/or new products, and the general use of items
Understand each product and provide information and advice to customers
Attend business meetings and participate and excel in sales campaigns
Develop, implement and maintain good, honest and open communications with the customers

Achievement RTTPI Automotive sell-in and sell-out targets.
Achievement of business plans based on set strategies
Consistent application of standards and policies on Field and Customer Management
Account collection and Accounts Receivables Management
Effective reportage, feedback & communication to Distributor Management

Graduate of college degree
Minimum 5 years field sales management experience in the Automotive industry
Preferably an experience in setting up a new business
Preferably with a confident pool of contacts in the Automotive industry
Ability to prioritize, organize and time manage successfully;
Advanced knowledge in Word, Excel and Outlook
Proactive work methods; Achieving budgets, adaptability, positive attitude to customers
Positive “Can Do” attitude: This will lead to an effective sales function where the expectations of internal and external customers are regularly met or exceeded.
Relationship Building: Actively building and maintaining relationships with external, and internal, clients.
