We are in urgent need of:

 

GENERAL MANAGER

 

This position shall be responsible for all aspects of the Club’s management with special attention given to clubhouse operations leadership with respect to food and beverage management, event planning and maximizing overall member satisfaction. This position will create, implement and monitor all of the club’s budgets and be accountable for the overall profitability and financial management aspects of the club. 

  • Responsible for the development and preparation of budgets including forecasting and review of all facility revenues and expenses on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis.

  • Analyzes and monitors financial statements, and reviews income and expenses relative to plans, implements corrective measures as needed 

  • Maintains knowledge and compliance with all lease terms and contractual obligations of concessionaires.

  • Develops/implements general policies. Approves specific operational policies, programs and procedures.

  • Monitors the performance of all daily operations, functions and services; assures high standards and total customer satisfaction.

  • Oversees the care and maintenance of all physical assets and facilities

  • Ensures the highest standards for golf service and programs, golf course and practice areas, food and beverage, recreation, entertainment, and other facility services.

  • Track and verify all players and guest, golf cars, club care, lockers, and other charges necessary and facilitate accurate accounting and record keeping

  • Oversee golf cart fleet while ensuring proper maintenance and record keeping

  • Develop and manage an innovative tournament program that services all customer segments.

  • Maintain a close working relationship with the Golf Course Superintendent and provide advice on course playability and tournament set up.

Qualifications:

  • With a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management and other related course. Master’s or post graduate degree is an advantage. 

  • At least 3-5 years’ experience as General Manager of a Golf Course or other similar industry involving membership and service.
