GERMAN LANGUAGE SUPPORT

 

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain master data elements in support of global Business Units focusing on vendor information.

  • Ensure master data integrity in key systems, as well as, maintaining the processes to support the data quality.

  • Exercises judgment within defined procedures to perform day-to-day decisions for the overall landscape for master data objects and the application of business rules.

  • Provide support and guidance to all Master Data Users related to structure, change requests, business process and system impacts

  • Lead training efforts for new processes and tools

  • Lead testing efforts for new processes and tools

  • Support Supplier Database process enhancements

  • Ensure that proper governance is applies Support non-language coworkers facing German language based issues.

  • Creation of new vendors based on requests from supported global business units and purchasing departments

  • Ensure all required data for creation is provided as well as verification of data integrity of the supplied attachments

  • Ensure internal vendor master data governance rules are applied, by analyzing and interpreting available attachments.

  • Support non Language colleagues with vendor creation inquiries regarding provided data or attachments, create standard text for direct communications

  • Maintain Vendor Data by processing change requests from supported global business units, purchasing departments or direct requests from Vendors.

  • Ensure all required data for change is provided as well as verification of data integrity of the supplied attachments

  • Ensure internal vendor master data governance rules are applied, by analyzing and interpreting available attachments.

  • Support non Language colleagues with vendor change inquiries regarding provided data or attachments, create standard text for direct communications

  • Reply to all inquiries sent to VDM Pool ID.

  • Initialize direct change request from vendors in the Supplier Database Mgt. Tool and confirm to vendor that requested action is being processed.

  • Create replies/inquiries/ data requests for non-language colleagues arising from special circumstances which cannot be addressed by the standard text database.

  • Support non-German speaking staff with interpretation, standard text creation, direct communications or any other language or cultural based issues. Provide general solutions ideas to questions asked by team members

  • Contact partner and responsible for day-to-day problem solving and escalation.

  • Identify and communicate to responsible parties necessary process updates.

  • Participate in process documentation and participate in knowledge exchange according to set standards.

Qualifications:

  • German Language capabilities (B2 Passer - NATIVE Level required)

  • From B2 to C1 level must provide certification of proficiency

  • Degree in business administration or similar degree.

  • Knowledge in the entire accounting process and the interdependencies with other accounting processes

  • Basic level and some experience in Excel (Knowledge, experience and application)

  • Basic level and some experience in Office Tools (Knowledge, experience and application of MS Office tools, other project tools, Visio)

  • Knowledge in web-based tools.

  • Basic knowledge on accounting systems (SAP)

  • Good English communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Theoretical knowledge in customer orientation (Ability to meet customer demands without bringing the company into disadvantage)

  • Ability for learning accounting tasks

  • Ability for teamwork and communication skills with colleagues and supervisor.

  • Communication skills for operational purposes (other SSC areas and the MPCs)

  • Quality-minded professional and high self-demanding approach for daily work tasks fulfilment

  • At least 2 years of experience required for Analyst accountant position
