Job Description:

  • Oversees the overall output and productivity of the Team

  • Accountable for the quality of the team’s output

  • Leads the team toward achieving monthly quality and productivity targets

  • Responsible for team growth and development

  • Ensures compliance with rules and the law (checks for plagiarism, etc.)

  • Partners with HR by helping in recruitment, performance, and other HR-related matters

  • Executes strategic and tactical goals, in alignment with CEO/upper management team


  • Works directly with management and CEO to ensure team priorities and goals are met

  • Coordinates with Head Office on keywords requests and output for publishing

  • Keeps track of the team’s productivity and makes sure that targets are met

  • Checks and updates the Productivity Tracker daily

  • Removes team obstacles and challenges so that they can work well and efficiently

  • Upholds content quality and brand by strictly reinforcing rules and quality measures

  • Evaluates team skills vis-a-vis job/role requirements and champions training and development programs to fill any skills or knowledge gaps

  • Establishes new/additional quality control measures in writing and editing content, as needed

  • Provides timely and direct feedback to members of the team

  • Researches for the latest trends and techniques on content curation and writing

  • Recommends improvements, as applicable and as needed

  • Aligns with management and Research Team for any changes or improvements in SOP documents 

  • Edits and reviews articles

  • Manages resource/staff to make sure prioritized keywords and articles are done and published as soon as possible

  • Initiates activities and programs that will advance team members’ skills and knowledge, and improve processes

  • Evaluates processes and makes changes/suggestions for improvement, and which are scalable

  • Identifies key team members and successors for business continuity

  • Reviews and maintains writer’s and editor’s exams

  • Conducts interviews for open positions within the department

  • Conducts meetings and 1-on-1s to foster open communication
