BRANCH FINANCE SUPERVISOR

 

Reporting to the Finance and Admin Head this position: Coordinates with all departments under Branch and Central Accounting, He/She will supervise and oversee the accounting activities and financial reporting.

 

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Preparation of Financial Statements and other financial reports.

  • Facilitate preparation of Budgets and Sales Forecasts and analyze variances.

  • Analysis and Monitoring of Revenues.

  • Analysis and Monitoring of Operating Expenses.

  • Analysis and Monitoring of Vehicle and Parts Inventory.

  • Facilitate monthly reconciliation of Inventory per books versus per warehouse for Vehicle and Parts Inventory.

  • Facilitate Year-End Physical Inventory Count for Vehicle and Parts Inventory.

  • Supervise and oversee the analysis and recording of acquisition, disposal, depreciation & appraisal of Fixed Assets.

  • Recommends and maintains business and operating processes for Branches to ensure proper internal controls exist and are followed in order to maintain the integrity of financial data

  • Ensure proper reporting, and paying of tax obligations of the Branches to the proper governmental agencies.

  • Review revolving fund replenishments of Branches

  • Other tasks that may be assigned by immediate superior.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION:

  • University graduate in Accounting, Certified Public Accountant.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 1 to 3 years of related experience.

  • Experience in preparing financial statements for internal and external use.

  • Supervisory experience is required.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE – SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Accounting knowledge of the complete accounting cycle, closing of year-end books.

  • Knowledge in Budgeting and Forecasting Strong computer skills and knowledge in accounting software.

  • Autonomous and well organized with ability to meet tight deadlines.

  • Ability to maintain sound working relationships with internal and external contacts.

  • Knowledge of appropriate internal controls.
