Lifeguard Supervisor

Position Title: Lifeguard Supervisor will be assigned in El Mar Resort.

Reporting To: General Manager, Resorts Operation Manager

Department: Leisure- Resort Operations

A. Duties/Responsibilities 

• Ensure comfort and safety of all guests in the beach and the pool area.

• Supervises and monitors all activities in the beach and pool area.

• Must adhere the company policies.

• Gives instructions in pool operating procedures, rules, safety practices, maintenance, and related matters.

• Adheres department objectives by supervising staff and organizing and monitoring work processes.

• Implement coaching, counseling, and disciplining to his subordinates (when necessary).

• Should be accountable in ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of the beach and pool area.

• Reports directly to immediate supervisor when there is guest feedback or complaints.

• Provides quality service by enforcing best quality customer service standards.

• Must administer First Aid procedure during crucial moments.

• Maintain the highest level of lifeguard skills to a “rescue ready” standard at all times.
  Should be attentive in complying health and safety policies and procedures.

B. Profile Requirements

• Must have a Certificate of Lifeguarding
  Must be a Certified First Aider (updated and accredited by DOLE)

• Must be a Certified Scuba Diver or has experience in scuba diving

• Must have at least 3-5 years’ experience in the same capacity in a hotel/resort/relevant industry setting

• Excellent Customer Service Orientation

• Natural at acquiring new business & relationship building

• Must be detail-oriented and organized

• Honest & trustworthy

• Responsible and result-oriented

• Intense drive & high commitment to ensure welfare of the guests

• Willing to relocate to Sogod, Cebu.

• Can work ASAP.
