Is currently looking for:

 

JUNIOR SOUS CHEF

 

Running the kitchen in the absence of the sous chef and the head chef. Helping to train more junior members of staff. Assuming responsibility for stock takes. Learning the ordering systems. Meeting with suppliers. Health and safety, and food hygiene responsibilities.

 

Directs food preparation and collaborates with executive chef. Helps in the design of food and drink menu. Produces high quality plates, including both design and taste. Oversees and supervises kitchen staff. Assists with menu planning, inventory, and management of supplies.

 

Qualifications:

  • With at least an experience of at least 2 years as a junior sous chef.

  • Had formal training and varied experiences in different dishes

  • Can create menus based on different clientele

  • Can work in big functions

  • Has leadership potential to lead the kitchen team

  • Can discipline and motivate the team
