LOGISTICS STAFF

Job Description:

1. Makes sure that containers or goods reach the warehouse/destination/client safely, securely, and on time

2. In coordination with the forwarder or supplier, or on his/her own initiative, arranges and organizes all modes of transport necessary to bring the goods or containers from origin to client’s or company’s warehouse

3. Files, organizes, and retains all necessary records

4. Coordinates with the company’s Finance Department to ensure timely and correct payments to various service providers (like brokers, forwarders, truckers, etc.)

5. Coordinates and tracks the movement of goods and containers through logistics/supply chain pathways (including ensuring the accomplishment of Customs export and import formalities by the proper persons, ports processes, shipping line processes, terminal processes, etc.)

6. Coordinates with the company’s Regulatory Department to ensure that documents needed by this department are obtained from the suppliers or other concerned persons or entities

7. Executes logistics plan to move goods and containers to reach intended destinations on time

8. Review freight rates and other transportation costs to keep working costs low

9. Maintains quality throughout the logistics/supply chain processes

10. Performs other tasks and duties as may be assigned from time to time

Work Arrangement

• He/she will report for work at Tektite Towers, Ortigas Center, Pasig City from Monday to Friday – subject to new work arrangements in response to the Covid pandemic.

Compensation Package

• Gross salary of P16,000.00; signing bonus but refundable in case of premature resignation or on just termination; HMO benefits upon regularization; and performance-based bonus upon regularization.

Qualifications:

1. Relevant bachelor’s degree

2. At least 1 year of experience working in the logistics/supply chain industry

3. Must be of good moral character (with character reference from immediately preceding employer or a person of authority in his or her community)
