Based in Cebu, the Accounts Payable Accountant will report to the Accounts Payable Manager.

 

The Company

 

We’re a global provider of quality control and compliance services that helps brands and retailers manage their supply chains. Every year, we deliver some 215,000 inspections, audits, and lab tests. As part of our Finance team, you will work with international customers, be involved in crucial IT processes, and play a key role in ensuring financial stability of the company. 

 

You would be a member of our core accounting team, handling all issues related to accounts payable and expenses.

 

The Job

 

As the job title implies, your duties will revolve largely around accounts payable.

 

You will be expected to: 

  • Review & check all expenses claims in P&L system before GL booking;

  • Validate inspectors' monthly reimbursement invoices;

  • Review front-end operations-related expenses; 

  • Help to prepare monthly expense analysis reports; 

  • Help to prepare payments to inspectors and back office staff using Internet banking; 

  • Answer all inspector emails and phone calls concerning expenses and bonuses; 

  • Provide backup for other team members and handle ad-hoc tasks 

The Candidate

 

It could be you, if you have: 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related major;

  • At least 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable function;

  • High proficiency with MS Excel and specialized financial software; 

  • Good communication skills and teamwork abilities; 

  • Hardworking and motivated with great ability to work in a fast-paced environment
