  1. Plan and direct the accounting activities of the department, oversee all accounting procedures and processes (financial reporting, billing, collections and budget preparation).

  2. Prepares financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) in a timely and accurate manner.

  3. Oversees preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets.

  4. Responsible for tax planning throughout the fiscal year; files annual corporate tax return.

  5. Ensures timely and accurate tax compliance and reporting.

  6. Provides financial analysis with an emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.

  7. Developing a company’s financial and accounting policies, workflows and methods after consultations with heads of finance.

  8. Reviews new and existing financial systems and controls and proposes improvements to the existing systems and controls.

  9. Confirms financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses; coordinating the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data; preparing special reports.

  10. Maintains accounting controls by establishing a chart of accounts; defining accounting policies and procedures.

  11. Guides other departments by interpreting accounting policy, applying observations and recommendations to operational issues.

  12. Maintains financial security by establishing internal controls.


  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Major in Accounting

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred

  • At least 5 years (s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position

  • Internal or external audit experience is preferred

  • Experience with financial reporting requirements

  • Experience with BIR compliance
