WELA is looking for an Accountant based in Cagayan de Oro City!

 

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year work experience as an Accountant

  • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

  • Hands-on experience with any accounting software

  • Experience with general ledger functions

  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills

  • BS in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree

  • Certified Public Accountant

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Preparing accounts and tax returns

  • Monitoring spending and budgets

  • Auditing and analysing financial performance

  • Financial forecasting and risk analysis

  • Advising on cost reduction, revenue enhancement and profit maximization

  • Compiling and presenting financial and budget reports

  • Ensure that financial statements and records comply with laws and regulations

  • Keeping account books and systems up to date.
