Job Summary:


The Quality Assurance Head will oversee the activity of the Quality Assurance Department and staff, developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of quality and reliability testing for the organizations products and/or development processes.


Specific Duties and Responsibilities


  1. Directs QC Supervisor, QA Pharmacist and QA/QC Analyst to ensure strict implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) within factory premises and production area in all divisions.

  2. Regularly conducts audit in all aspects of the laboratory and aligns with the documented SOPs and Guidelines.

  3. Coordinates with Regulatory Officer and validates all information on the labels which must be aligned with the declared details to FDA.

  4. Approves the submission of all results related to Microbiology of Food Division.

  5. Approves, investigates and verifies every Incident Report issued by the QC/QA Department.

  6. Schedules the conduction of annual ECHO or in-house training on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for all factory, warehouse, delivery & production personnel annually.

  7. Responsible for Quality Assurance of all products released from the factory.

  8. Reviews and ensures that all raw materials purchased have passed quality standards.

  9. Approval of documents, samples & analysis needed for the application / renewal / amendment of License to Operate, Certificate of Good Manufacturing Practice, HALAL Certification, and Certificate of Product Registrations for all divisions.

  10. Checks and approves each of the reports/results before submission to the Food and Drug Administration.

  11. Ensures that the required initial and continuing training of all QC personnel is carried out and implemented

  12. Member of “Risk Management System” team and “Internal Quality Audit” team
