  • Manage the activities and upkeep of the kitchen premises.

  • Main output is the preparation and service of the meals according to the specified standards of quality, cost and customer service. 

  • Ensures that the ingredients used for meal preparation adhere to the quality standards set, while maximizing its yield. 

  • Make sure that the kitchenware tools and equipment are well maintained, are in good condition and correspond to the inventory. 

  • Accountable for the sanitation and safety of the kitchen premises. 

  • Ensure overall quality output, cost efficiency, customer satisfaction, profit, safety and sanitation

  • Maintain accurate food inventories

  • Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures

  • Restock kitchen for subsequent shifts

  • Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of your shift


  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality preferred

  • If undergraduate, candidate must have at least 2 years of working experience in the kitchen;

  • Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends

  • 1+ years’ experience as a Cook in restaurant industry

  • Able to understand and follow standardized recipes

  • Strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures

  • Able to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen atmosphere
