Purchasing Supervisor

About The Role: Purchasing Supervisor position will be assigned in El Mar Resort in Sogod, Cebu.

Job Summary

• Oversees and conveys the purchasing information to every involved parties including vendors, sales representatives, and employees.

• Checks and evaluates every purchase request forms for accuracy.

• Should gather, record, and complete correct purchase data.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensures compliance to all purchasing policies and procedure.

• Manages all communication for all department activities, and leads in buying all supplies and equipment to meet the resort’s needs.

• Identify and follows the quality of the requested products.

• Conducts research for potential suppliers.

• Effective in sourcing of goods, products and services.

• Negotiates the best or most cost effective deals.

• Evaluates and analyze purchasing trend and price trend.

• Forecast the departments’ demand, and minimize purchasing costs (if possible).

• Sort out and consolidate all requisitions or request from all departments.

• Prepare purchase requests and order for approval.

• Perform inventory inspection and reordering of supplies.

• Update and maintain records of all orders, payments and received stocks.

• Establish professional relationships with clients and suppliers.

• Ensures all requests or orders are delivered on a timely manner.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• College graduate of any business related course.

• 3- 5 years purchasing experience.

• Excellent Negotiation Skills.

• Excellent organizational and planning skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skill.

• Keen to details.
