Is currently looking for:

 

SALES & MARKETING ASSOCIATE

 

DEPARTMENT: SALES & MARKETING

REPORTS DIRECTLY TO: SALES & MARKETING OFFICER and MD

 

Required Experience/Skills: 

 

Must have at least one (1) year of experience in Sales & Marketing experience or customer service experience. Knowledgeable and effective communicator, has in-depth knowledge of the entire sales process, and has strong skills in negotiation and in closing deals.

 

Essential Functions: 

 

Continuously update his knowledge of the company products, services, and policies. The associate is responsible for dealing with any and all customer questions about the products and services the company offers. He/she is expected to help create marketing campaigns, assist in the preparation and planning of adverts and materials in order to maximize brand promotion and plan, project and manage marketing events. He/she is responsible in identifying target customers and generate leads and converting them to appointments. 

 

Areas of Responsibilities:

  1. Greeting incoming customers and creating a welcoming environment.

  2. Support the work of  sales & marketing officer and executives on projects directed at maximizing company profits and developing sales strategies or marketing campaigns

  3. Promoting special sales, offers and awareness of products and services and generate leads.

Job Requirement:

 

Education:    

  • Bachelor’s degree in business studies/administration/management, marketing or equivalent.

Technology Skills:   

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel functions              

  • Good command of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Proficient in data collection, data organization, analysis, visualization and presentation of data

Knowledge:   

  • Basic knowledge of methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.

  • Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.

  • Knowledge in supporting the work of marketing managers and executives on projects directed

  • Knowledge about customers and markets

Skills: 

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

  • A high level of attention to detail

  • Comfort with multi-tasking in a deadline-driven environment.

  • Understanding of basic business and marketing concepts.

Abilities:        

  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently

  • Ability to react and address issues as they arise, be able to solve problems and ensure clear communication is maintained at all levels.

Work Activities:

  • Operate as second lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to the customers;

  • Assist with the costing/quotation of products (corrugated boxes, sack kraft, adhesives etc) done by the Sales and Marketing officer and to be approved by CEO;

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by constantly being in touch thru phone or emails or even out-of-town meetings (regular client calls) mainly to attend to customer needs and concerns;

  • Help ensure the timely and successful delivery of our products to our customers;

  • Does the daily collection follow up with existing customers and submits Daily Follow Up Call report (to be submitted to Sales and Marketing Officer then to the Managing Director); in charge of creating leads for the company and converting them to appointments – Daily Cold Call Report with updates as to when the Sales team can present products;

  • Assist in developing new products for the existing customers and also create initiatives to find new customers;

  • Attend trainings pertaining to professional handling of customers and sales rallies in order to strengthen the Sales and Marketing know-how;

  • Assist in creating marketing opportunities (marketing campaigns, advertising materials, marketing events) for the company;

  • Perform other tasks as required by the Management;
