The Role - This position is to be assigned @ El-Mar Resort in Calumboyan, Sogod, Cebu

 

Front Office - Assistant Manager

 

RESPONSIBLE FOR: Receptionists, Night Team, Concierge

 

KEY LIAISON: All Departments/Front Office Employees, Hotel guests

 

SCOPE & MAIN PURPOSE

  • To take control and responsibility for the smooth and efficient operation of the front office operational departments, ensuring facilities are maintained to the standards required and the departmental budgeted profitability is achieved.

  • To develop a cohesive and trained team who is able to provide superior guest service and maximize revenue.

  • To ensure accommodation business targets for revenue, occupancy and profit achieve or exceed the hotel/ resort budget.

  • To develop the hotel/ resort business through proactive selling activities and the effective conversion of all suitable accommodation inquiries.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Has 3-5 Years of experience in the same role/capacity

  • Got good time management Skills

  • Has client services/Management Experience

  • Excellent Problem Solving Skills

  • Great interpersonal & Communication Skills

  • Has knowledge of Basic Accounting

EDUCATION

  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Tourism, Hospitality/Hotel & Restaurant Management/Hotel Management, or any relevant education from a reputable college or university.

  • Relevant Post Graduate studies and relevant Certifications are highly preferred.
